RF AMPLIFIERS FOR LEO · SMALLSAT · CUBESAT

Your radio has the signal. We close the link.

When your mission needs a frequency, power level, or form factor that nobody stocks on a shelf, Triad RF builds it. Custom RF front ends with frequency translation and up/down conversion for LEO constellations, NewSpace downlinks, and satellite IoT networks. 20+ years of flight heritage. Ships when you need it.

The problem we solve

Your radio doesn’t reach the ground

Two watts into a SmallSat antenna won’t close a 500 km downlink at your data rate. You need 8–25W from a GaN SSPA that fits your power bus and mass budget.

Your frequency band has no off-the-shelf amp or radio

X-band at 20W, Ka-band with a specific modulation, S-to-X frequency translation — the standard catalog doesn’t cover your mission. We’ve built all of these.

SWaP won’t allow a standard enclosure

Triad RF circuit cards integrate directly into your bus. No extra housing, no extra mass. If it fits on a drone wing at 20W, it fits in your SmallSat.

You need it faster than anyone quoted

We average 8–10 week lead times because our technical sales team resolves requirements up front. Once a design is agreed, it ships.

Your mission requires you operate at a different frequency

You have a S-band radio at the heart of your platform, but the mission requires your downlink to be at X-band. You need a frequency converter that will integrate easily on to your bus.

Why Triad RF

We solve the hard stuff

If you need 19.2–20.2 GHz at 4W with an unusual modulation, we tell you what it’ll take — not that it can’t be done. Our engineering team qualifies requirements before we quote.

Speed without sacrifice

We shipped 8 days early on average last year across all programs. Competitors quote 12–16 weeks. We target 8–10. Because your launch window doesn’t move.

Flight heritage, not shelf heritage

600+ payloads delivered. 5+ SpaceX Transporter rideshare missions flown. 20+ years combined LEO operating time. When you ask if we’ve done this before, the answer is almost always yes.

“Eight out of ten companies will say: here’s what we have on the shelf, it’s close enough — change your system. When you come to Triad RF, we figure out what you actually need and build it.”
